POLI-MELT^® Hotmelt Films

Hot melt films for bonding and transfer applications.

POLI-MELT^® is a thermally activatable adhesive film developed for the permanent bonding of textiles and materials. It differs from conventional transfer films in that it is not used for visible finishing, but rather as an adhesive layer or carrier medium.

Typical applications include textile bonding, applying iron-on labels or stickers, and transferring hot stamping foils. The films are also used in various technical bonding applications where reliable adhesion is required. POLI-MELT® hot melt films thus expand the product range with a solution that opens up additional possibilities for processors.

POLI-MELT^® TURBO^® 4900

Adhesive: Co-polyester hot melt
Liner: PET film, self-adhesive
Thickness: 0.042 mm
Transfer temperature/time: 160 °C, 3 sec. / 150 °C, 4 sec. / 130 °C, 5 sec.
Pressure: 2.5 – 3.0 bar (medium pressure)

Hot melt film for bonding different materials (substrates) using heat or for transferring hot stamping films. Areas of application include textile bonding, applying iron-on labels, textile stickers, or hot stamping films to textiles, as well as technical bonding.

Transfer temperature/time: 145°C – 155°C, 15-18 sec.
Pressure: 2.0 – 3.0 bar (medium pressure)
